The Outdoor Advertising Association of America spent $160,214 to lobby Congress in the third quarter on legislation to reauthorize funding for highway and other transportation projects, according to disclosure forms.
The group spent $182,676 on lobbying in the third quarter of last year and $200,996 in the second quarter of 2011.
The industry group represents billboard owners and the companies that sell advertising space on billboards, bus and train stations and other outdoor areas.
The organization disclosed the spending in a report filed Oct. 17 with the House clerk's office.
