SAIC gets $25 million TSA bag-screening order

The federal government gave Science Applications International Corp. a $25 million order to upgrade its ability to screen checked bags for explosives.

The company said Monday that the order from the Transportation Security Administration involves upgrading imaging systems with technology that uses advanced X-ray technology.
