Printing services company R.R. Donnelley & Sons Co. said Tuesday it acquired Helium.com, which matches online and print publishers with writers.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
R.R. Donnelley, which uses digital and conventional technologies to provide printing, logistics and other products to the private and public sectors, took an equity stake in the Andover, Mass., company in 2009.
Helium writers produce local and lifestyle content for use in books, websites, catalogs, newspapers, magazines and other publications.
R.R. Donnelley shares rose 9 cents to $19.61 in aftermarket trading.
