Grain futures fall, livestock prices mostly lower

Grains futures traded lower Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery fell 2.75 cents to $7.89 a bushel; July corn fell 9.50 cents to $7.25 a bushel; July oats shed 3.50 cent to $3.3950 a bushel; while July soybeans dropped 23 cents to $13.70 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures traded lower or flat on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle edged down 0.25 cent to $1.1170 a pound; August feeder cattle fell 0.62 cent at $1.3420 a pound; June lean hogs dropped 1.57 cent to 93.90 cents a pound; while May pork bellies were unchanged at $1.2650 a pound.
