JP Morgan Asset Management announced Friday the launch of its endowments and foundations strategic advisory group.
The group will focus on the U.S. endowment and foundation market, which represents a $1 trillion opportunity, the company said in a release.
Monica Issar, who was most recently a senior investment specialist at JP Morgan Private Bank, will become chief investment adviser for the newly created unit. She will be based in New York.
Issar joined JP Morgan Investment Management in 1996 as an equity portfolio manager. She moved to the company's Private Bank in 2000 as a senior investment specialist.
