WASHINGTON
Pratt & Whitney said Monday it was awarded a contract valued at roughly $145 million to supply engines to power the Royal Moroccan Air Force's new fleet of F-16 aircraft.
Pratt & Whitney will deliver its F100-PW-229 Enhanced Engine Package engines in 2010 and 2011. The announcement was made at the Farnborough International Airshow, which runs through July 25 at an airfield outside London.
Pratt & Whitney is owned by United Technologies Corp. of Hartford, Conn.
