Biden to visit Colo. tech company to plug stimulus

Vice President Joe Biden is headed to a Colorado technology company to promote stimulus money the business received.

Biden plans a Friday visit to Longmont's UQM Technologies, which makes generators and electric motors. The company received $45 million in funding from the stimulus act and is building a new factory.

Also attending the factory tour is Democratic Rep. Betsy Markey. After the tour Biden is headed to Denver to headline a fundraiser for Markey, a freshman lawmaker facing a tough re-election bid.
