Air Products raises dividend to 49 cents per share

LEHIGH VALLEY, Pa.

Air Products, a supplier of industrial gases, said its board raised its quarterly dividend to 49 cents per share of common stock, up from the previous payout of 45 cents per share.

The company said Thursday that the dividend is payable May 10 to shareholders of record at the close of business on April 1. Air Products said it has raised its dividend for 28 consecutive years.

Shares of Air Products slipped 32 cents to close at $74.44 on Friday.
