Arthur J. Gallagher makes another acquisition

NEW YORK

Insurance brokerage Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. on Wednesday said it bought Winn & Co. Insurance Brokers.

Winn & Co. is based in Hollister, Calif. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

In February, Arthur J. Gallagher bought Brazilian reinsurance broker Securitas Re for an undisclosed amount. That follows at least 10 acquisitions in 2009. Terms of most of those deals were not disclosed.

Gallagher shares rose 15 cents to settle at $25.64.
