Tyco board declares dividend of 0.22 Swiss Francs

SCHAFFHAUSEN, Switzerland

Tyco International Ltd. said Thursday that its board declared a quarterly dividend of 0.22 Swiss francs (21 cents) per share to be paid May 26 to shareholders of record as of April 30.

It is the first installment of an annual dividend of 0.9 Swiss francs to be paid over the next four quarters.

The dividend will be paid in dollars and converted to francs using the exchange rate about one week ahead.
