LOS ANGELES
Defense contractor Northrop Grumman Corp. said Thursday it has named David Drabkin director of acquisition policy.
The Los Angeles-based company said Drabkin will coordinate its efforts related to acquisition regulations and policy at the U.S. Department of Defense and other government agencies. He also will coordinate Congressional relations on the issues of acquisition policy and reform.
Drabkin most recently served as acting chief acquisition officer for the federal General Services Administration. The GSA arranges office space for the federal government.
Drabkin has held several executive positions at the Defense Department, including chief counsel for the Defense Logistics Agency, and was procurement counsel to the minority staff of the U.S. Senate Homeland Security committee.
