LONDON
British movie theater chain Odeon says it will show Tim Burton's fantasy adventure "Alice in Wonderland" in Britain, Ireland and Italy after resolving a dispute with Walt Disney Pictures about the release date for the DVD version.
Odeon had said it wouldn't show the film in its theaters because it objected to Disney's decision to release the DVD 12 weeks after the theatrical release, instead of the usual 17 weeks.
Odeon said Thursday that the dispute had been resolved, but it didn't disclose details.
There was no immediate comment from Disney.
