The Pasadena, Calif.-based engineering consulting firm forecast earnings for fiscal 2010 that fell below some Wall Street estimates.
Brooks Automation Inc., up 49 cents at $7.93
The company narrowed its loss in the fiscal fourth quarter and the CEO said it could approach break-even in the current quarter.
Juniper Networks Inc., down 65 cents at $24.70
Hewlett-Packard Co. said it would buy 3Com Corp., leaving Juniper out of a consolidation move in the computer networking gear market.
Activision Blizzard Inc., up 6 cents at $11.44
First-day sales of "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" broke records, raking in $310 million in North America and the United Kingdom.
