Shares of some top pharmaceuticals companies are mixed at 10 a.m.:

Baxter fell $.18 or .3 percent, to $57.30.

Bristol-Myers Squibb rose $.02 or .1 percent, to $23.36.

Hospira rose $.10 or .2 percent, to $48.05.

Johnson & Johnson fell $.38 or .6 percent, to $60.85.

King Pharmaceuticals rose $.02 or .2 percent, to $11.24.

Eli Lilly fell $.07 or .2 percent, to $35.18.

Merck fell $.21 or .6 percent, to $33.40.

Pfizer rose $.11 or .6 percent, to $17.67.
