Shares of some top food companies are mixed at 10 a.m.:

Burger King fell $.07 or .4 percent, to $17.22.

CKE Restaurants fell $.54 or 5.8 percent, to $8.77.

McDonalds rose $.58 or .9 percent, to $62.86.

WendyArby rose $.05 or 1.1 percent, to $4.38.
