Grain higher, livestock higher
CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mostly higher Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for March delivery rose 8.25 cents to $6.2025 a bushel; March corn was 4.25 cents higher at 4.5375 a bushel; March oats advanced 20 cents to $4.4875 a bushel; while March soybeans fell 6.75 cents to $13.5425 a bushel.
Beef and pork were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
April live cattle was .30 cent lower at $1.4182 a pound; March feeder cattle was .53 cent lower at $1.7117 a pound; while April lean hogs fell .20 cent to $.9720 a pound.
