Grain higher, livestock higher


CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were higher Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery rose 13.50 cents to $6.12 a bushel; March corn was 4.25 cents higher at 4.4950 a bushel; March oats advanced 7 cents to $4.2875 a bushel; while March soybeans gained 23.50 cents to $13.61 a bushel.

Beef and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle was 1.02 cents higher at $1.4212 a pound; March feeder cattle was 1.23 cents higher at $1.7170 a pound; while April lean hogs rose 1.20 cents to $.9737 a pound.
