DC metro gas prices down 2 cents from last week
WASHINGTON (AP) — Gas prices in the Washington D.C. metro area are down 2 cents from a week ago.
In its weekly report released Sunday, AAA says the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gas is $3.30, down from $3.32 a week ago. The price is 31 cents lower than a year ago, when the price was $3.61.
The price of gas in the region is 2 cents above the national average. The national average for a gallon of unleaded was $3.28, unchanged from a week ago.
The average price in the District of Columbia alone was $3.49, down 4 cents from a week ago.
