Grain mixed, livestock higher
CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mixed Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for March delivery fell 3.25 cents to $5.7750 a bushel; March corn was 1.25 cents higher $4.4425 a bushel; March oats declined 20 cents to $4.3650 a bushel; while March soybeans advanced 5.75 cents to $13.3150 a bushel.
Beef and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
April live cattle was 1.33 cents higher at $1.4040 a pound; March feeder cattle was .80 cent higher at $1.6780 a pound; while April lean hogs rose .52 cent to $.9472 a pound.
