NYSE stocks posting largest volume increases


NEW YORK (AP) — A look at the 10 biggest volume gainers on New York Stock Exchange at the close of trading:

Alere Inc. : Approximately 4,014,900 shares changed hands, a 581.7 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $2.94 or 8.0 percent to $33.99.

Constellium NV : Approximately 4,309,400 shares changed hands, a 696.1 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $.51 or 2.0 percent to $24.40.

Douglas Dynamics Inc. : Approximately 588,200 shares changed hands, a 549.4 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares rose $.50 or 3.5 percent to $14.89.

Envision Healthcare : Approximately 6,377,500 shares changed hands, a 1,057.7 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares rose $2.37 or 7.7 percent to $33.10.

Federal Agricultural Mortgage Corp. class A : Approximately 1,100 shares changed hands, a 1,067.4 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares rose $.02 or .1 percent to $23.28.
