NEW YORK (AP) — Shares of some top utilities companies are down at 10 a.m.:

American Electric Power Co. fell $.32 or .7 percent, to $48.18.

Consolidated Edison Inc. Holding Co. fell $.16 or .3 percent, to $53.43.

Dominion Resources Inc. fell $.39 or .6 percent, to $65.46.

Duke Energy Corp. fell $.32 or .5 percent, to $69.62.

Exelon fell $.06 or .2 percent, to $28.85.

PG&E fell $.09 or .2 percent, to $41.19.

Southern Co. fell $.03 or .1 percent, to $40.97.
