Grain higher, livestock mostly lower
CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were higher Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for March delivery rose 20.75 cents to $5.8450 a bushel; March corn was 6 cents higher $4.4175 a bushel; March oats rose 9.75 cents to $4.2450 a bushel; while March soybeans advanced 20.50 cents to $13.1325 a bushel.
Beef was lower and pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
April live cattle was .50 cent lower at $1.3890 a pound; March feeder cattle was 1.03 cents lower at $1.6697 a pound; while April lean hogs rose .27 cent to $.9312 a pound.
