NEW YORK (AP) — A look at the 10 biggest volume gainers on Nasdaq at the close of trading:

ArthroCare Corp. : Approximately 4,532,300 shares changed hands, a 2,438.9 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares rose $3.74 or 8.2 percent to $49.12.

Capitol Acq Cp II : Approximately 123,600 shares changed hands, a 13,211.0 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares rose $.02 or .2 percent to $9.69.

Carver Bancorp : Approximately 20,300 shares changed hands, a 1,626.5 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares rose $.56 or 5.1 percent to $11.50.

Collabrium Japan Acquisition Corp. : Approximately 137,300 shares changed hands, a 2,156.7 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $.16 or 1.5 percent to $10.27.
