NYSE stocks posting largest volume increases


NEW YORK (AP) — A look at the 10 biggest volume gainers on New York Stock Exchange at the close of trading:

Amrep Corp. : Approximately 201,900 shares changed hands, a 1,245.6 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares rose $.37 or 5.3 percent to $7.37.

Asia Tigers Fund : Approximately 178,400 shares changed hands, a 1,027.6 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $.12 or 1.1 percent to $11.17.

Danaos Corp. : Approximately 411,700 shares changed hands, a 2,068.2 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares rose $.18 or 3.7 percent to $5.08.

Empire St Rlty OP60 : Approximately 5,300 shares changed hands, a 488.9 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares rose $.05 or .4 percent to $14.14.

Molycorp Inc. : Approximately 35,125,700 shares changed hands, a 388.1 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares rose $.67 or 11.9 percent to $6.29.
