Nasdaq stocks posting largest volume increases


NEW YORK (AP) — A look at the 10 biggest volume gainers on Nasdaq at the close of trading:

CU Bancorp : Approximately 311,400 shares changed hands, a 1,415.7 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares rose $.19 or 1.0 percent to $18.79.

Chart Industries Inc. : Approximately 2,514,900 shares changed hands, a 756.3 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $6.74 or 6.3 percent to $100.73.

Digirad Corp. : Approximately 1,306,100 shares changed hands, a 1,802.3 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares rose $.39 or 11.7 percent to $3.72.

Federated National Holding Co. : Approximately 280,200 shares changed hands, a 1,431.1 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares rose $1.62 or 15.8 percent to $11.87.

First Community Bancshares Inc. : Approximately 449,500 shares changed hands, a 1,205.3 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $.33 or 2.0 percent to $16.36.

HF2 Financial Mgmt : Approximately 61,300 shares changed hands, a 1,194.5 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares remained unchanged at $10.18.

Iridex Corp. : Approximately 420,200 shares changed hands, a 2,641.2 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares rose $1.47 or 24.6 percent to $7.44.
