NEW YORK (AP) — A look at the 10 biggest volume gainers on Nasdaq at the close of trading:

American Independence Corp. : Approximately 98,200 shares changed hands, a 4,724.2 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares rose $1.36 or 16.2 percent to $9.73.

Athens Bancshares : Approximately 50,900 shares changed hands, a 6,009.7 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $.50 or 2.7 percent to $18.00.

Bank of Commerce Holdings : Approximately 248,700 shares changed hands, a 1,563.2 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares rose $.02 or .4 percent to $5.42.

Francesca's Holdings Corp. : Approximately 18,161,900 shares changed hands, a 1,465.8 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $6.23 or 25.9 percent to $17.79.

Fuwei Films : Approximately 1,629,300 shares changed hands, a 1,341.1 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares rose $.39 or 31.8 percent to $1.63.
