NYSE stocks posting largest volume increases


NEW YORK (AP) — A look at the 10 biggest volume gainers on New York Stock Exchange at the close of trading:

A.H. Belo Corp. : Approximately 1,056,400 shares changed hands, a 1,909.6 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $.12 or 1.7 percent to $6.86.

Alexander & Baldwin Inc. : Approximately 2,388,900 shares changed hands, a 1,668.1 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $.24 or .6 percent to $39.75.

Enzo Biochem : Approximately 2,364,800 shares changed hands, a 1,796.6 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $.03 or 1.4 percent to $2.08.

Equal Energy Ltd. : Approximately 2,574,400 shares changed hands, a 2,967.7 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares remained unchanged at $4.04.

Hill International : Approximately 1,695,100 shares changed hands, a 2,173.5 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares rose $.08 or 3.0 percent to $2.74.

Imperial Holdings Inc. : Approximately 994,100 shares changed hands, a 1,737.4 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $.05 or .7 percent to $6.85.
