American Electric Power Co. rose $.03 or .1 percent, to $48.70.

Consolidated Edison Inc. Holding Co. rose $.14 or .2 percent, to $60.58.

Dominion Resources Inc. rose $.29 or .5 percent, to $59.98.

Duke Energy Corp. rose $.41 or .6 percent, to $72.18.

Exelon rose $.08 or .2 percent, to $35.01.

PG&E rose $.28 or .6 percent, to $46.80.

Southern Co. rose $.18 or .4 percent, to $46.02.
