NYSE stocks posting largest volume increases


NEW YORK (AP) — A look at the 10 biggest volume gainers on New York Stock Exchange at the close of trading:

American Greetings Corp. : Approximately 3,570,600 shares changed hands, a 746.6 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares rose $.09 or .5 percent to $18.14.

Arabian American Development Co. : Approximately 221,200 shares changed hands, a 588.3 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $.12 or 1.4 percent to $8.27.

Celadon Group : Approximately 1,114,500 shares changed hands, a 465.5 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $1.53 or 7.6 percent to $18.51.

Investors Real Estate Trust : Approximately 3,518,300 shares changed hands, a 1,035.9 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $.32 or 3.3 percent to $9.38.

LifeLock Inc. : Approximately 1,295,000 shares changed hands, a 415.4 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares rose $.18 or 1.9 percent to $9.42.

Moog Inc. class B : Approximately 2,700 shares changed hands, a 502.2 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $.30 or .7 percent to $44.53.

Nordic American Tankers Ltd. : Approximately 9,963,900 shares changed hands, a 1,239.2 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $1.18 or 10.7 percent to $9.84.

Special Opportunities Fund : Approximately 96,400 shares changed hands, a 900.0 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares rose $.38 or 2.3 percent to $17.26.
