Grain futures mostly rise, livestock prices up
CHICAGO (AP) — Grains futures mostly rose Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for May delivery rose 3.50 cents to $7.0350 a bushel; May corn rose 3 cents to $7.1425 a bushel; May oats added 1 cent to $3.94 a bushel; while May soybeans fell 10.75 cents to $14.6875 a bushel.
Beef and pork prices rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
April live cattle rose 0.58 cent to $1.2870 a pound; April feeder cattle rose 0.83 cent to $1.4220 a pound; April lean hogs rose 0.30 cent to 81.45 cents a pound.
