Nasdaq stocks posting largest volume increases


NEW YORK (AP) — A look at the 10 biggest volume gainers on Nasdaq at the close of trading:

American Independence Corp. : Approximately 27,000 shares changed hands, a 1,816.7 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares rose $.31 or 6.0 percent to $5.51.

BroadVision Inc. : Approximately 1,117,700 shares changed hands, a 2,402.0 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares rose $1.89 or 22.0 percent to $10.47.

Coleman Cable Inc. : Approximately 361,200 shares changed hands, a 1,310.4 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares rose $1.14 or 11.6 percent to $11.00.

Del Frisco's Restaurant Group : Approximately 2,495,900 shares changed hands, a 6,353.9 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $.82 or 4.6 percent to $17.00.

FairPoint Communications Inc. : Approximately 2,668,600 shares changed hands, a 2,330.7 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $.75 or 9.6 percent to $7.10.

Immersion Corp. : Approximately 2,049,300 shares changed hands, a 1,710.3 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares rose $1.29 or 15.7 percent to $9.53.

NBT Bancorp : Approximately 783,300 shares changed hands, a 939.2 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares rose $.70 or 3.3 percent to $21.80.
