Kohl's Corp. fell $.08 or .2 percent, to $46.19.

Macy's Inc. rose $.15 or .4 percent, to $41.23.

Nordstrom fell $.09 or .2 percent, to $53.99.

J.C. Penney Co. rose $.39 or 2.7 percent, to $14.82.

Saks fell $.07 or .6 percent, to $11.18.

Sears Holdings Corp. rose $2.61 or 5.6 percent, to $48.89.

TJX Companies fell $.32 or .7 percent, to $44.62.
