Walker & Dunlop names Stephen Theobald CFO
BETHESDA, Md. (AP) — Walker & Dunlop Inc. said Monday that it has hired Stephen Theobald as the real estate financial service company's executive vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer.
Theobald, 50, is currently the executive vice president and chief financial officer at Hampton Roads Bankshares Inc. He will begin his new position April 1. Theobald replaces Debbie Wilson, 57, who is retiring.
CEO Willy Walker said that Theobald's experience will be extremely valuable as Walker & Dunlop continues to grow.
Walker & Dunlop, based in Bethesda, Md., provides commercial real estate financial services for owners and developers of commercial real estate.
The company's shares added 4 cents to $21.19 in midday trading.
