NEW YORK (AP) — Shares of some top oil companies were mixed at the close of trading:

BP PLC fell $.04 or .1 percent, to $40.29.

Chevron rose $.59 or .5 percent, to $117.49.

ConocoPhillips fell $.66 or 1.1 percent, to $57.62.

Exxon Mobil Corp. fell $.48 or .5 percent, to $88.95.

Marathon Oil Corp. fell $.52 or 1.6 percent, to $32.37.
