NEW YORK (AP) — A look at the 10 biggest volume gainers on Nasdaq at the close of trading:

Aastrom Biosciences Inc. : Approximately 3,025,400 shares changed hands, a 925.5 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares rose $.01 or .8 percent to $1.23.

BSB Bancorp Inc. : Approximately 537,300 shares changed hands, a 3,541.3 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares rose $.01 or .1 percent to $13.15.

FNB United Corp. (NC) : Approximately 378,400 shares changed hands, a 1,762.1 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $.45 or 4.3 percent to $10.10.

Greene County Bancorp Inc. : Approximately 5,100 shares changed hands, a 1,243.6 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $.53 or 2.5 percent to $20.50.
