Carnival rose $.82 or 2.4 percent, to $35.45.

Las Vegas Sands Corp. rose $.79 or 1.6 percent, to $51.12.

MGM Resorts International rose $.29 or 2.4 percent, to $12.40.

Marriott International Inc. rose $.74 or 1.9 percent, to $39.14.

Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. rose $.76 or 2.2 percent, to $34.64.

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc. rose $1.18 or 2.0 percent, to $60.01.

Wynn Resorts rose $1.89 or 1.6 percent, to $117.39.
