Hormel Foods Corp. rose $.23 or .6 percent, to $37.23.

Kellogg rose $.24 or .4 percent, to $60.19.

Mondelez International Inc. rose $.54 or 2.0 percent, to $27.49.

Smithfield Foods Inc. fell $.41 or 1.8 percent, to $22.40.

J.M. Smucker Co. rose $1.79 or 1.9 percent, to $94.94.

Tyson Foods Inc. rose $.18 or .8 percent, to $22.53.
