Kohl's Corp. rose $.04 or .1 percent, to $45.68.

Macy's Inc. rose $.17 or .4 percent, to $39.76.

Nordstrom rose $.42 or .8 percent, to $52.95.

J.C. Penney Co. fell $.32 or 1.5 percent, to $20.70.

Saks fell $.13 or 1.2 percent, to $11.09.

Sears Holdings Corp. rose $1.21 or 2.7 percent, to $46.64.

TJX Companies rose $.03 or .1 percent, to $43.70.
