NYSE stocks posting largest volume increases


NEW YORK (AP) — A look at the 10 biggest volume gainers on New York Stock Exchange at the close of trading:

AMN Healthcare Services Inc. : Approximately 2,155,000 shares changed hands, a 848.6 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $.41 or 3.2 percent to $12.53.

AVG Technologies N.V. : Approximately 3,480,300 shares changed hands, a 718.7 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares rose $1.85 or 14.1 percent to $14.98.

Abercrombie & Fitch Co. : Approximately 11,839,100 shares changed hands, a 422.5 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $2.19 or 4.5 percent to $46.86.

CEC Entertainment Inc. : Approximately 797,100 shares changed hands, a 996.2 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $1.29 or 4.0 percent to $31.18.

Citigroup Cap XIII : Approximately 592,200 shares changed hands, a 423.8 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares rose $.10 or .4 percent to $28.06.

Demand Media Inc. : Approximately 3,977,500 shares changed hands, a 824.7 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $.18 or 2.3 percent to $7.73.
