NEW YORK (AP) — A look at the 10 biggest volume gainers on Nasdaq at the close of trading:

Giga-Tronics Inc. : Approximately 76,800 shares changed hands, a 1,772.8 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares rose $.11 or 6.9 percent to $1.71.

Howard Bancorp Inc. : Approximately 6,200 shares changed hands, a 1,801.7 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $.02 or .3 percent to $6.80.

Image Sensing Systems Inc. : Approximately 99,900 shares changed hands, a 1,135.2 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $.13 or 2.4 percent to $5.30.

Merit Medical Systems Inc. : Approximately 1,971,700 shares changed hands, a 1,361.0 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $2.10 or 15.2 percent to $11.73.
