Best Buy fell $.39 or 2.2 percent, to $17.02.

Home Depot Inc. rose $1.32 or 2.1 percent, to $65.70.

Lowe's Cos. rose $.32 or .8 percent, to $37.99.

OfficeMax rose $.94 or 8.1 percent, to $12.58.

RadioShack fell $.06 or 1.9 percent, to $3.10.

Staples fell $.10 or .8 percent, to $13.19.

TJX Companies rose $.11 or .2 percent, to $44.32.
