NEW YORK (AP) — Shares of some top railroad companies were mixed at the close of trading:

CSX rose $.31 or 1.4 percent, to $22.86.

Canadian National Railway Co. fell $.26 or .3 percent, to $98.02.

Canadian Pacific Railway Ltd. rose $1.42 or 1.2 percent, to $118.31.

Kansas City Southern rose $1.01 or 1.0 percent, to $98.78.

Norfolk Southern Corp. rose $1.56 or 2.2 percent, to $73.11.

Union Pacific rose $1.77 or 1.3 percent, to $136.02.
