Nasdaq stocks posting largest volume increases


NEW YORK (AP) — A look at the 10 biggest volume gainers on Nasdaq at the close of trading:

Charter Financial Corp. : Approximately 387,300 shares changed hands, a 1,499.3 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares rose $.75 or 6.3 percent to $12.69.

Eagle Bncp Montana : Approximately 33,500 shares changed hands, a 1,073.1 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares rose $.20 or 1.9 percent to $10.55.

Hampton Roads Bankshares Inc. : Approximately 1,679,400 shares changed hands, a 1,076.5 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares rose $.08 or 6.6 percent to $1.30.

IPG Photonics : Approximately 4,242,500 shares changed hands, a 859.2 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $6.72 or 9.7 percent to $62.76.

Icahn Enterprises LP : Approximately 283,000 shares changed hands, a 827.3 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $6.16 or 7.1 percent to $80.99.

Information Svcs Grp : Approximately 2,436,000 shares changed hands, a 2,496.8 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $.02 or 1.5 percent to $1.30.

LogMeIn Inc. : Approximately 6,295,400 shares changed hands, a 2,692.0 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $7.01 or 29.6 percent to $16.65.
