NEW YORK (AP) — A look at the 10 biggest volume decliners on New York Stock Exchange at the close of trading:

American Municipal Income Portfolio Inc. : Approximately 4,000 shares changed hands, a 86.7 decrease from its 65-day average volume. The shares rose $.03 or .2 percent to $16.54.

Asia Tigers Fund : Approximately 900 shares changed hands, a 92.4 decrease from its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $.13 or 1.0 percent to $12.39.

Mesa Royalty Trust : Approximately 900 shares changed hands, a 89.3 decrease from its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $.65 or 2.8 percent to $22.55.

Nuveen Premier Municipal Income Fund : Approximately 6,400 shares changed hands, a 86.1 decrease from its 65-day average volume. The shares remained unchanged at $15.40.

Plains Exploration & Production Co. : Approximately 529,200 shares changed hands, a 85.9 decrease from its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $.33 or .7 percent to $48.00.
