ACE L fell $.05 or .1 percent, to $85.61.

Aflac Inc. fell $2.31 or 4.3 percent, to $51.18.

American International Group unchanged at $38.75.

MBIA rose $1.58 or 17.9 percent, to $10.41.

MGIC Investments Corp. rose $.08 or 2.8 percent, to $2.90.

MetLife fell $.04 or .1 percent, to $37.57.

XL Group PLC rose $.17 or .6 percent, to $27.72.
