American Express Co. fell $.10 or .2 percent, to $60.56.

Capital One Financial Corp. rose $.34 or .6 percent, to $57.47.

Discover Financial Services rose $.05 or .1 percent, to $39.33.

Mastercard rose $2.86 or .5 percent, to $523.55.

Visa Inc. rose $1.29 or .8 percent, to $160.82.
