Clorox rose $1.00 or 1.3 percent, to $80.16.

Colgate-Palmolive Co. fell $.74 or .7 percent, to $109.10.

Kimberly-Clark Corp. fell $.42 or .5 percent, to $89.59.

Procter & Gamble Co. fell $.64 or .8 percent, to $75.28.
