NEW YORK (AP) — Shares of some top supermarkets companies are mixed at 1 p.m.:

Kroger rose $.04 or .1 percent, to $27.75.

Safeway fell $.07 or .3 percent, to $19.24.

Supervalu rose $.02 or .5 percent, to $3.93.

Whole Foods Market Inc. fell $.09 or .1 percent, to $95.54.
