Citigroup Inc. fell .4 percent to $42.16 with 26,561,300 shares traded.

EMC Corp. fell 4.0 percent to $24.18 with 125,432,600 shares traded.

Ford Motor Co. fell 4.6 percent to $13.14 with 124,597,700 shares traded.

General Electric Co. was unchanged at $22.50 with 31,536,600 shares traded.

Hewlett Packard Co. fell 3.2 percent to $16.48 with 31,153,800 shares traded.

Pfizer Inc. rose 3.2 percent to $27.70 with 71,326,900 shares traded.

Sprint Nextel Corp. rose 1.4 percent to $5.64 with 111,001,800 shares traded.
