Carnival rose $.78 or 2.0 percent, to $38.97.

Las Vegas Sands Corp. rose $.76 or 1.5 percent, to $52.64.

MGM Resorts International fell $.09 or .7 percent, to $12.87.

Marriott International Inc. fell $.13 or .3 percent, to $39.16.

Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. rose $.16 or .4 percent, to $37.54.

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc. fell $.29 or .5 percent, to $59.87.

Wynn Resorts rose $1.82 or 1.5 percent, to $125.28.
